Increase Productivity:Kick this Bad Habit

I understand what it feels like to seek that infamous nod of approval on ideas or when a milestone is reached. You expect others to rejoice with you but in reality they don’t care or it did not meet their standards and they start giving you their opinion on how to fix it. There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism and I am not saying to brush what they say off. When you do not bust a move or blink until you receive approval or made everyone happy is when I believe you need to sit down and check what you believe yourself worth is.

There are countless of people who are in a career they hate, started a business without being prepared or didn’t do something they love because it didn’t meet the standards of others that they deemed important. You do not want to be in this group.

When you start doing what you love, making decisions for yourself and you are not looking for the approval from others things will fall in place. You can move towards your goals faster, have less stress on your body, feel more at peace and become more confident in yourself. Trust yourself and if you need help or have a questions then you reach out but every move doesn’t have to be dictated by other people’s opinions.

Trust the process.

Life has taken me in a direction I would have never picked for myself. I was born in a land that they described today as a war zone and raised by the strongest baby boomers of their generation. Graduated from a school of hard knocks a year early and fell into the arms of a transformed man. Found God then turned my back and crawled back when I realized I couldn’t do it by myself. Married a man who pulled out my gifts and helped me strengthen my talents and we introduced our version of ole blue eyes. We started selling coffee but this time without the siren on our backs and created our own brand of coffee that we occasionally sale at our community events. My life story is a secret but if you follow closely you just may see me.
